About the Winery
At the Barn Winery is a boutique winery owned by Don and Debbie Stutz. The winery is housed in a restored 1870’s barn that was built by Don’s great grandfather.
Don made wine as a hobby for several decades before deciding to open At the Barn Winery after retirement.
The Indiana Wine Trail
At the Barn Winery is one of 5 wineries on the Indiana Wine Trail, which runs through southeastern Indiana. Its rural setting is within an hour’s drive from Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Louisville, KY.
You can read about other wineries on the Indiana Wine Trail at here.
Originally, Stutz’s purpose for restoring the barn was so they could host gatherines for their large and growing family.
The first grapevines were planted in 2007 and they have added vines and varietals each year. They also grow the berries and fruit that are used in the wine.
They are currently growing 7 types of grapes: Concord, Chancellor, Muscadine, Cayuga White, Niagara, Catawba and Traminette.

Currently, the winery is only open Fridays from 4pm to 7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00pm to 7:00pm. When there is a band, they typically stay open until 9:30pm.
